Well, it's not quite 3AM, but it's still very late at night when she gets an incoming call from Levi.]

[ The voice that answers the phone call is a bit groggy, as if Kara'd just waken up from a nap, but she answers regardless. She promised, after all, and it's not like her nap was great, anyway. ]

[ She rolls onto her side. ]

How are you feeling?

[Just hearing Kara's voice when she picks up makes Levi exhale in relief. He sorely needed this.]

Hey. I'm...doing better now, I think.

[He certainly doesn't sound as panicked as his typing displayed earlier. If anything, he just sounds exhausted. Very, very exhausted.

He's quick to deliver an actual update on the situation.]

Barrett's going to be okay. W-Well...as okay as he can be. He's gonna be out for a while though, so we're resting at a hotel now.

[ She'd rather hear a tired Levi than a frantic one. ]
